BriLAN supports Authentication of users trying to connect to the AP based using the standard procedures via RADIUS Server.

SoftHill’s  implementation of the RADIUS based Authentication utilizes the MAC address of the associated  clients as the customer’s user name.  The password is a fixed value added by the BriLAN based AP controller.  The password is the same for all users associated to the AP controller, but can be different for each AP Controller that utilizes RADIUS client functionality.

BriLAN implementation of RADIUS server supports collecting the information about the traffic for each associated client - allowing network administrators to bill their customers based on such information.
